OUCH!!!

On memorial weekend Grayson got very sick and was hospitalized for a night. It took him a good 5 days after they released him on Monday to feel normal again. So we go into the new weekend feeling good because everyone is up to par....... Until Saturday night that is.....

Matt woke up Saturday morning needing to go help with a new rent house that we are involved in. He was hoping to get back to the house soon since our entire weekend before was spent in the hospital and our entire week was spent mending our baby boy. So he goes to help a bit and then comes home for lunch. He then calls our friend to see if they were working again and goes back up to help for a bit longer. He came back home to have dinner with us and after dinner we go for our daily evening walk.. After the walk, we try to finish up putting a vent into our chicken tractor. One of our girls keeps getting really hot in there and passing out???? So, that's the reason for the vent. Its 7:00 and he is cutting away and bammm, zips right through his fingers!!! 15 stitches and 3 hrs later this is what we have. 

He has some nerve damage in his pointer finger. We are hopeful that he will get feeling back in that finger. It may take a while, but I am prayerful that it will return. 

So 2 E.R. visits in 7 days is pretty taxing on this old Momma!!!  I think we need a vacation!!:)
