Iowa

Matt and I haven't been to Iowa since we've been married... I know, considering he still has family there, its pretty terrible:( But, we decided this year was the year and headed up...
It was amazing. The land was gorgeous and beautiful and all of that. There was so incredibly much corn everywhere!!  I was in heaven with all of the Barns and pastures and silos...
On the way up we broke the trip into 2 days, so the first night we stayed in a hotel and the kids loved it..
They swam and swam with daddy!! He's so fun!!!

It was just beautiful driving into Iowa the next day!!

 LOVE!!
 LOVE
These were grapes growing! The first and only grapes we saw!! I think this is a new thing. Matts aunt told us that they have recently realized that the soil and weather for a short time is conducive to growing them!
 Gorgeous rolling hills!!1

They harvest in sections. This was so neat to me!
The first thing we did when we got settled in was go to Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University!!! It was so neat... They had a butterfly garden and a beautiful garden that they had life size lego exhibits at the time we were there.
This was the hatchery for the butterflies.. so neat..

There were several hatching from their chrysalises !!!
