Life Skills

This winter in school Ive decided to put more life skills learning in the mix.  So,  the other day as part of our Life Skills lesson Grayson had to measure, mark and cut a 4x4 post for a project we are working on. He did great. He used a real compound miter saw by himself, with supervision of course. He was so excited and proud of himself. He even cleaned up after himself.:D Big points there.

The finished product was 3 perfectly measured and cut pieces of wood. I am so excited about teaching him this stuff and learning along with him:D
